Traffickers arrested by RPF team in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Raliway Protection Force team, led by Rayagada Inspector Trilok Chandran, apprehended 25 ladies including six minor girls, two male labourers along with five male and a woman traffickers on Saturday night.

They were being shifted to Kerala and Chennai for labour work by the gang.

Based on a tip off RPF team conducted a search in the train and detrained them at Rayagada Railway station.

The arrested persons were handed over to Government Railway Police (GRP) Rayagada for further legal action.

The gang was apprehended from train no: 17481 Bilaspur - Tirupati express while travelling from Muniyaguda, Odisha to Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh.

In connection with this, GRP/Rayagada registered a case against the six traffickers.
