Tourism officials told to prepare proposals for Havelock Bridge: Collector

Kakinada: District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy directed the tourist officials to prepare proposals for designing and development of Havelock Bridge near Godavari Railway Station (old bridge across Godavari) to attract tourists.

Speaking at the District Tourism Development Council meeting here on Tuesday, Muralidhar Reddy also directed the officials to give a PowerPoint presentation on the Bridge to Rajahmundry MP M Bharat and Rajahmundry Municipal Commissioner Abhishikth Kumar and seek their suggestions.

He told the officials to ensure that the guest houses, being constructed by the Tourism Department have similar design. He instructed the ITDA Project Officer Nishant Kumar to hand over the required land to the Tourist Department for construction of Bhupathipalem eco project. He asked the officials to provide parking place for tourists.
