TDP trying to tarnish CM's image, alleges MP
Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram alleged that the TDP was trying to tarnish the image of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the guise of sand scarcity in the state. Due to continuous floods and rains, digging of sand in the rivers was stalled for some time.
Speaking to the media at 'Eat and Play' here on Thursday, he said within a fortnight, the issue of sand scarcity would be sorted out and Isuka Varatosavam also be held to combat the problem. The Chief Minister has brought a transparent policy to supply sand to common man and to avoid irregularities.
But, TDP and other parties were trying to get political mileage in the short span, but in vain. TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his leaders were not able to digest the transparent administration of Jaganmohan Reddy and involved in mudslinging, he alleged.
TDP leaders who looted sand for five years in as aspects had no right to comment on the chief minister, he said. He also lambasted Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan by saying that he has no moral right to criticise Jaganmohan Reddy in any aspect as the former is part and parcel of TDP.
YSRCP city coordinator S Sivarama Subramanyam said the people are watching the gimmicks of opposition parties mainly TDP and they will teach a lesson to them shortly. The party leaders Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao, N Srinivas, Bommana Raj Kumar, A Virraju, M Sharmila Reddy, K Sagar and others were present.
