TDP senior leader, Tekkali MLA Kinjarapu Achennaidu surrenders in court. A case has been registered against him at the Tadepalli police station for allegedly interfering with police duties. In September, TDP called for the Atmakur program and accused YSRCP leaders in Guntur district Palnadu for attacking Telugu Desam sympathizers. TDP chief Chandrababu has announced that all the victims will be left to fend for themselves. A large number of TDP leaders flocked to the call to Chalo Arukar.
However, the police arrested the TDP leaders who participated in Chalo Atmakur program. Chandrababu and his son Lokesh were taken into custody at his residence on Vundavalli. Achennaidu and some other leaders reached Chandrababu's house. An attempt was made to go inside and meet Chandrababu.
Tadepalli police have registered a case on Achennaidu for his abusing on-duty police forces. There was a campaign to arrest him in the case. However, the court granted bail as he approached the High Court. He surrendered to the Mangalgiri court in Guntur district following the orders of the High Court. The Mangalgiri court granted bail to Achchena with a guarantee of Rs. 50000.
