TDP issues notice under rule 90 in Legislative Council against three capital bills

In the wake of the introduction of Decentralization Bill (the Three Capitals Bill) and the CRDA repeal bill in the legislative council on Wednesday, the TDP objected for the discussion on the CRDA repeal and decentralization bills in the legislature. Moreover, the TDP has issued notices under Rule 90 not to discuss decentralization bills. The TDP notice states that these bills have been put before the Select Committee. The bills are sent to the Select Committee, but the Secretary is claiming that they have not complied with the rules. "The chairman of the council has the authority to make decisions according to the circumstances and the bills should be sent to the select committee, " TDP opined.

On the other hand, the YSRCP and TDP have sharpened their strategies as the bills came to the council. Chief whip of YSRCP of Ummareddy has held a meeting with the YSRCP MLCs on the bills, while Yanamala discussed with the TDP MLCs about the strategies to be adopted in the House. TDP hopes to insist on voting on these bills. All members should vote, he said.

On the other hand, the Ummareddy said that Yanamala's claim of opposing the bill to be wrong. He said the bill will be passed irrespective of council's approval. With this, tension erupted in the council.
