TDP alleges properties of opposition leaders targeted
Amaravati: Former home minister and TDP MLA Nimmakayala Chinarajappa on Tuesday accused the YSRCP government of adopting a policy of demolishing the opposition leaders' constructions while not handing over the completed houses built by the TDP government to the eligible beneficiaries.
Chinarajappa criticised that the buildings of GITAM, Sabbam Hari, Sri Harsha and others were wrongfully demolished in Visakhapatnam. The properties of the opposition leaders was being targeted with an ulterior motive to suppress all dissenting voices, he alleged.
In a statement here, the TDP leader said that the ministers and ruling party MPs were obstructing all forms of development with utter disregard for the future of the state. MP V Vijayasai Reddy should explain why he had written a letter for stalling the works on the Visakhapatnam airport, he demanded.
He asserted that the people would not believe the false propaganda by the ruling YSRCP that the TDP had created hurdles for the distribution of the houses which were already completed.
Also, the YSRCP leaders were committing all sorts of frauds in the house sites programme but not taking steps for providing proper liveable house sites to the poor.
Stating that the Jagan government was least bothered about the welfare of the people, Chinarajappa said that the TDP along with all other opposition parties would continue its agitation to protect the people from the YSRCP's destructive policies.
