Vijayawada: Rajya Sabha member Y Sujana Chowdary said the list of demands submitted by AP Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to Union home minister Amit Shah recently was baseless.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Chowdary challenged the state government to release a white paper on the allocations as per the AP Reorganisation. He said that he would prove the demands of Chief Minister Jagan were wrong and nothing was pending with the Central government.

Jagan Mohan Reddy was repeating the same demands of former CM N Chandrababu Naidu who submitted them to the Centre in the past, he said. "It is not possible to give more funds to some states and also to stop release of funds to some particular states," he explained.

"The present government has no vision and there was hardly any administration in the state. The state government is also not having any capacity to utilise the financial resources from the Centre by setting up a special purpose vehicle.

The bureaucracy in the present state government failed to prepare plan of action," he opined. He lambasted the government for spending huge amount for purchasing power. "It is the clear example to the government's failure," he said.
