Students screened under YSR Kanti Velugu scheme in Guntur

Guntur: District Collector I Samuel Anand Kumar said that the students will get good marks, if their eyesight was good. He inaugurated second time eye test camps at SKBM Municipal Corporation High School at AT Agraharam here on Friday.

He said the government introduced YSR Kanti Velugu Scheme to test the eyes of the children and give eye spectacles. He directed the doctors to conduct necessary tests to assess their eyesight.

They are giving eggs to the students in their mid-day meals, he said and urged the students to disclose facts about their eye problem during the screening. GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha, DMHO Dr Yasmin were among those participated.
