Stress on job-generating courses at AKNU
Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Prof AV Prasad Rao has underlined the need to introduce job-generating courses in the university instead of routine courses.
Participating in university executive council meeting held here on Thursday, he said the university should give priority for job based courses and asked the executive members to concentrate in this regard.
He directed the executive council to design the courses for the year 2019-2020 to generate jobs. An action plan will be devised for the development of university campuses at Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada and Tadepalligudem. It is the duty of the faculty to uphold the values of the university by providing quality teaching to the students.
The last date for submitting applications without fine for Nannaya CET was extended up to April 24 and asked the students to avail this opportunity. Registrar Prof S Teki, rector Prof P Suresh Varma, members professors P Vijay Nirmala, S Sai Durga Prasad, C Krishna and B Suvarna Kumar were present.
