Srikakulam: Complete layout works for houses speedily says Kalva Dhanunjaya Reddy

Srikakulam: Beneficiaries' satisfaction is the only parametre in selection of house-sites, said statewide house-sites special officer Kalva Dhanunjaya Reddy. He inspected layouts prepared for house-sites in Kotabommali, Tekkali and Palasa mandals.

He asked officials to show the sites to beneficiaries first before registration and their satisfaction was more important to us. Dhanunjaya Reddy also directed the officials to acquire more lands for future requirements like public hospitals, parks and schools.

He interacted with the beneficiaries in some villages and asked them how they were feeling about the house-sites.

Dhanunjaya Reddy directed the housing and district water resources management agency (DWMA) officials to level the house-sites to avoid drainage and other issues in future.

Later the special officer conducted review meeting with revenue, housing and DWMA officials on completion of layout works on quick pace.

Speaking on the occasion, he explained that the government was planning to distribute house-sites for poor on the eve of Ugadi festival on March 25.
