Sridevi lodges complaint with Jagan against TDP leaders
Amaravati: The YSRCP Tadikonda MLA Undavalli Sridevi met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and lodged a complaint with him against those who allegedly insulted her during Ganesh festival in her constituency on September 2.
The MLA met the Chief Minister at Tadepalli on Thursday and explained him that some TDP followers made humiliating criticism against her and urged him to take serious action on it. Minister for Home Mekathoti Sucharita, Minister for Social Welfare Pinipe Viswaroop, Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy and other YSRCP leaders were also present during the meeting.
Reacting to the appeal of the MLA, the Chief Minister suggested Home Minister to take stringent action against the accused persons and the action should send a strong message to the society that the government will not tolerate such activities in any manner. The MLA further urged the Jagan Mohan Reddy that such type of incidents should not happen to any other leader in the state.
