SPMVV achieves NAAC A+ grade

Tirupati: Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) has achieved NAAC A+ grade. The process of submission of SSR, DVV and visit of the peer team has been going on since the last several months.

The peer team of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited the Institution from December 27 to 29 to evaluate quality related parameters. After due assessment, the committee has awarded A+ grade to the university. It may be recalled that during the last assessment in 2017, it secured A grade while this time it has shown even better performance. Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof D Jamuna said, "I am very happy that the university has been elevated from NAAC A grade to A+ grade. It has emerged as an institution of distinction in curricular reforms, research, innovation, extension, best practices and institutional distinctiveness. Now we got every additional strength to go on multidimensional teaching-learning process and improve research further.

I congratulate all the teaching and non-teaching staff for their excellent commitment in demonstrating the strength of the institution." She lauded the efforts of team IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) who worked tirelessly since the past several months to submit the self-study report to NAAC and looked after the entire peer team visit. She thanked Prof Uma Maheswari, Director of IQAC, Prof K Usha and Prof B N Neelima, deputy director of IQAC for their efforts in working for achieving NAAC A+ grade for the institution. The V-C expressed hope that this university will emerge as an institution of excellence and distinction and work for women's empowerment in the country in days to come.

Registrar Prof DM Mamatha expressed her joy in the university achieving A+ grade and congratulated all the teaching and non-teaching staff for their hard work in NAAC assessment process.
