Shruthi Hospital holds free mega health camp in Pamarru

Pamarru: Minister for Endowments Vellampalli Srinivas appreciated Dr Sruthi and her father Sekhar for organising a mega free health camp for the poor people at Tammareddy Sruthi Hospital at Gudivada road here on Tuesday.

MLA Anil Kumar and others were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas said that the hospital acquired equipment to treat patients suffering from all kinds of health problems. He said that till now Dr Sruthi had treated about 5,000 poor patients, and the government would support the hospital in the days to come.

The Minister said that due to pollution and change in food habits, dreadful diseases like cancer, kidney related problems are on the rise. To provide good treatment to the poor people, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that all diseases which would cost above Rs 1,000 will be covered under YSR Arogyasree.

Apart from treating the patients awareness was created to the people on seasonal diseases and precautions to be taken. Dr K Sekhar, Dr Sruthi, T Vinod Reddy and others were present.
