Show-cause notice to Principal Secretary: TDP seeks clarity

Vijayawada: Senior TDP leader and former Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao asked Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy as to why the Chief Secretary issued a show-cause notice to a senior IAS officer.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, he said that the Chief Minister should reveal the details of the show-cause notice episode. He said that there was a conspiracy behind the show-cause notice issued.

He said that the incident provides a clear example of the lack of maturity of Chief Minister Jagan's administration in the State. He criticised the State government for not coming out with a proper sand policy.

He wondered as to why there was no sand scarcity in the States like Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka. He alleged that the leaders of the YSR Congress were looting public money by illegally transporting the sand.

He wondered how Y S Jagan could fulfill his desire of becoming the best Chief Minister. The YSRCP government failed to provide good administration during the last five months, he said.
