Sharmila accuses TDP of cheating people

Guntur: YSRCP leader and sister of party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy Y S Sharmila accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of cheating the people of the state by failing to keep their promise of Special Category Status (SCS).

"Naidu demanded SCS at the time of elections and after coming to power, he agreed for special package for his own benefit," she said while addressing a road show at Pedakurapadu in the district on Sunday.

Sharmila reminded that Chandrababu Naidu assured jobs for every household during elections but after coming to power he could provide job in state Cabinet to his son Lokesh, who doesn't know difference between vardhanti (death anniversary) and Jayanti (birth anniversary). She also criticised the TDP chief for not keeping his poll promise of waiving crop loans and members of self-help groups.

Stating that TDP did not fulfil even a single promise out of 600 promises it had made before elections, Sharmila called upon the voters to teach a lesson to Chandrababu Naidu by defeating him and electing YSRCP candidates and stressed the need to make Y S JaganmohanReddy as chief minister for the development of the state. She assured that he would fulfil all his promises and develop the state.

Addressing another meeting at Narasaropet, Sharmila urged the voters to elect party candidate L Krishnadevarayalu as MP and added that her brother Jaganmohan Reddy would implement welfare schemes for all sections of people.
