Rajamahendravaram: CPM demands financial help to the poor

Rajamahendravaram: CPM registered a protest at Gorakshanapeta here on Tuesday with placards demanding that the government fulfil various demands under the aegis of party leader B Purnima Raju, as part of country wide party protests.

The party demanded that the government pay a monthly amount of Rs 7,500 to each family, 10 kgs of rice for a period of six months and 200 working days etc. The party activists participated in the protest programme maintaining physical distance. CPM leaders Tata Rao, SFI leader Rambabu, IDWA leaders Annapurna, Kumari, Lakshmi and many others were present.
