Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party national spokesman Kommareddy Pattabhi on Monday accused the YSRCP government of trying to use the 'YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Raksha Pathakam' to encourage litigations in the name of resurvey and resort to land settlements in a large scale all over the State.

Pattabhi cautioned the land and property owners to be very vigilant stating that the YSRCP gangs are getting ready to change online property records overnight in order to grab assets of others.

The government is trying to begin property registrations at Grama secretariats itself only with an ulterior motive to help the ruling party leaders to loot property of private persons.

Addressing a press conference here, the TDP spokesman recalled how YSRCP Minister Gummanuru Jayaram tried to change names in records to take over 204 acres in Kurnool district recently. The TDP showed proof of this but the Chief Minister did not take any steps against the Minister till now.

Seeing the YSRCP leaders' illegal activities, time has come for the public to check their online property records every week. If any foul play was noticed, the people may contact the local TDP leaders who would extend all the required support to save their property.

Pattabhi termed it as laughable that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is talking about saving people's lands going by how the YSR family grabbed hundreds of acres of assignment lands in Idupulapaya and it also owned hundreds of acres of tea estate in Penagaluru in Kadapa district.

Once the Bhu Hakku pathakam is operational, then the land settlements right now going in Tadepalli palace and YSRCP Ministers' and MLAs' offices would be expanded to every village and ward. Every Grama secretariat would transform into the YSRCP leaders' land settlement camp.

Like vultures, the ruling party gangs would swoop on towns and villages to start litigations only to swallow property of individuals.

Pattabhi mocked the YSRCP claims of resurvey of lands taking place after 100 years. He said that way back in 2018 itself, the Chandrababu regime started the Bhuseva project under which unique identification numbers were given to every property and land. That was only aimed at protecting land owners from land grabbers and the present YSRCP settlement gangs.

Those Bhudhaar 11-digit unique numbers were given to 1.39 lakh land units in villages out of the total 2.39 lakh units in the TDP regime itself.

The TDP leader advised the Jagan regime to cancel the Build AP Project if it was truly interested in saving the government lands from falling into the hands of settlement gangs.
