Programmes by artistes from various States enthral devotees in Tirumala
Tirumala: The annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala have been witnessing the most colourful performance by artistes hailing from different states during Vahana sevas being held daily in morning and evening.
The devotees wait in the galleries to have a glimpse of the processional deities seated on various vahanams and they get the opportunity of witnessing a wide range of traditional folk arts, devotional music, display of mythological characters by the artists and Bhajans by troupes of various languages.
TTD's various wings such as Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP), Annamacharya Project, Dasa Sahitya Project and SV College of Music and Dance also joined in the cultural troupes making the Vahana seva a memorable event for the devotees.
Teams from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujrat, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Odisha have performed to delight pilgrims. Particularly on Garud seva day, cultural programmes by the teams from various states enthralled the devotees waiting in the galleries.
Chitradurga Bharatanatyam from Karnataka, Cholia dance of Uttarakhand, Parvahi of Uttar Pradesh, Bhangra of Punjab, Bihu dance of Assam, Kolatam of Puducherry, Shankhnad of Himachal Pradesh, Tapatam, Garagattam and Oyalattam, Kokkilkattai, Nayandi Melam were performed by the artistes of Tamil Nadu.
TTD Executive Officer complimented all the artistes for their amazing performances and keeping the pilgrims engaged with their artistic skills in devotional mood.
