Pothula Sunitha to be YSRCP candidate for MLC by election in Andhra Pradesh

The ruling YSRCP has finalized a candidate for the vacant seat in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has declared Pothula Sunitha, a former MLC, as the candidate from YSRCP.

She received her B Form from CM YS Jagan and politely thanked the CM on Monday for finalizing his candidature. Sunitha was accompanied by Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and Pothula Suresh.

It is learnt that a notification has already been issued for a vacant post in the council. Sunitha, a former TDP MLC, resigned in protest of the party's leader and opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu.

She later joined the YSRCP followed by being finalized as an MLC candidate for upcoming MLC elections.
