Vijayawada: AP politics are revolving around Maha Bharat in recent days as the political leaders and parties began campaign comparing one another with Kauravas and Pandavas.

In recently held YSRCP Siddham campaign meeting at Denduluru, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy comparing himself to Arjuna, appealed to people to play Krishna to protect Arjuna (Jagan) from Kaurvas (TDP and Jana Sena alliance). The CM said all forces are coming together to take on YSRCP in the coming elections.

Reacting to Jagan’s comment, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu described Jagan as ‘Akramarjunudu’ not Arjunudu, in amassing wealth. Addressing Raa Kadali Raa meeting at Chintalapudi recently, Naidu said that Jagan is trying to play Pulivendula politics in state.

Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan wondered how Jagan Mohan Reddy could compare himself with Arjuna when he is encouraging those abusing his own sister Sharmila. He questioned how can Jagan become Gandeevadhari when he is supporting those who killed his own Babai (uncle). He asked how can Jagan become Savyasachi when he is not supporting his (Jagan) another sister Suneetha who is facing life threat.

Meanwhile, speaking to media persons on Assembly premises on Tuesday, former minister Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani) described Jana Sena chief Pawan as ‘Kaliyuga Salyudu’. He said that Pawan has been discouraging his cadre who are eager to see him as chief minister by stating that he has no strength to become CM or even MLA and asking them to keep quiet and get ready for carrying palanquin of Naidu. He said Pawan was playing the role of Salya in Maha Bharata who tried to discourage Karna in the war.
