Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose has resigned from his MLC post on Wednesday. The recently elected Rajya Sabha member from YSRCP has submitted the resignation letter to the Chairman of the Council. Speaking to media afterwards, Bose made interesting comments stating that it is not possible to get the special category status to the state.

He recalled that Chief Minister Jagan had struggled hard for special Category status however he opined that it is impossible to achieve SCS to the state. Meanwhile, he made clear that was his personal opinion nothing to do with the party or government.

Bose says that he has served as a Revenue Minister for a year. CM Jagan gave full freedom to serve the people and given the opportunity to pursue my goal of stepping into parliament. Responding to MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju's episode, he said that MPs should be loyal to the party.

On the other hand, another minister, Mopidevi Venkataramana, who is also with Bose, will also resign. Both of them will have to resign from MLC as they have won the Rajya Sabha elections. It is known fact that the duo has been sent to Rajya Sabha following the demolition of the legislative council amidst stalling the three capital bills in council.
