Kurnool: BJP national secretary Y Satya Kumar came down heavily on the YSR Congress government and alleged that people are unhappy with the rule of YSRCP.

"Though the present government promised to initiate action against the previous TDP government, so far nothing has been done," the national secretary alleged. Surya Kumar, accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP T G Venkatesh, addressed a press conference here on Thursday.

Commenting on the current economic slowdown, Surya Kumar said that the economies of the countries across the world have come to a halt. "Even though other countries have stopped, the Indian economy is still growing," he claimed.

He said that the YSRCP is repeating the same mistakes committed by the TDP government. "The state government is just changing the names of central government schemes and there are no new developments," he alleged. Several hundreds of construction workers are under stress due to the government's sand policy, he added.
