PDF, UTF felicitate MLCs

Vijayawada: The newly elected MLCs were felicitated by PDF and UTF supporters who had supported them in the recent elections. MLCs K Lakshmana Rao, Illa VenkateswaraRao, Telangana State United Teachers Federation MLC A Narsi Reddy and sister concerned union MLC P Raghu Varma were felicitated by the leaders of UTF at Siddhartha Auditorium here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest of the event MLC Vithapu Bala Subrahmanyam said the victory of the MLCs was the collective effort and this is the victory of government teachers unions of both the Telugu states. He congratulated all the MLCs who were elected as Graduate MLCs and Teachers MLCs recently to raise their voice in the Legislative Council.

Recently elected MLCs K Lakshmana Rao and Illa VenkateswaraRao thanked the AP state graduates and teachers who supported them to become MLCs. Telangana MLCs A Narsi Reddy and P Raghu Varma expressed their gratitude for honouring them in the AP state by the APUTF. They thanked TS teachers and graduates for electing them.

UTF State president Sk Sabji, general secretary P Babu Reddy monitored the stage. MLCs Ramu Surya Rao, Katti Narasimha Reddy, former MLCs Dr M Geyanand, MVS Sarma, B Nageswara Rao along with TSUTF State president Ch Ramulu and general secretary Chava Ravi, Voice of Telangana Teachers magazine editor P Manik Reddy and others were present.
