Pawan to take part in Padayatra with building workers in Vizag

Vijayawada: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan will conduct a padayatra with the building workers in Visakapatnam city on November 3 or November 4 at 3 pm.

The Political Affairs Committee meeting of Jana Sena party chaired by Pawan Kalyan took a decision in this regard in Hyderabad city on Sunday. The meeting said that lakhs of building workers were facing challenges to eke out a living as construction activity came to a halt due to sand scarcity.

The meeting has also expressed concern over the decision of the State government to remove from service 2.5 lakh outsourced employees. It has opined that the people of the State were facing hardships due to faulty decisions of the State government.

The party has decided to fight seeking solutions to people's problems. Senior leader Nadendla Manohar said that the party would give priority to youth. The party would prepare an action plan to strengthen the party base at the grass-root level.

MLA Rapaka Prasad pointed out that the YSR Congress leaders made allegations against the TDP government particularly on sand mining in the past.

But now under the YSR Congress government, illegal sand mining is going on unabated, he said. The leaders of YSR Congress were looting public money with sand mining and illegal liquor sales, he alleged.

Jana Sena leader Kandula Durgesh said that the Telangana government neglected the RTC workers. The AP government was removing lakhs of outsourced employees from the service, he lamented.
