Ongole: NSS units to be strengthened at Acharya Nagarjuna University said L Udaya Kumar

Ongole: Acharya Nagarjuna University NSS programme coordinator Prof L Udaya Kumar has said that the University was contemplating to strengthen the NSS units in the University limits and appealed to the NSS programme officers and volunteers to take active part in the programmes conducted by the NSS.

He said that the Universities and educational institutions have to play a very key role in participating in social service activities. He said the educational institutions get good recognition and fame with the social service activities of the NSS volunteers, the staff and the students. Udaya Kumar conducted a review meeting with the programme officers at the Andhra Kesari Tanguturi university campus on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the students would develop the leadership qualities with active participation in the social service works. He announced the ANU has decided to select the best programme officers in the University limits and asked the latter to strengthen the NSS Units.
