Ongole: Make foolproof arrangements for SSC exams, officials told

Ongole: District Revenue Officer (DRO) V Venkata Subbaiah instructed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for the ensuing tenth class examinations which would commence from March 23 and continue till April 8.

Addressing the review meeting of the arrangements for the examinations with the officials concerned, the DRO said that 41,584 students would appear for the examination in 188 examination centres including 168 physically handicapped students. He instructed the officials to allot ten flying squads, 43 sitting squads, 43 CC cameras, ten ASIs and ten deputy tahsildars for the smooth conduct of exams.

He said that there should be coordination between the departments of the medical and health, Energy, APSRTC and the Transport during the examinations. The students should be provided with all the facilities like drinking water, sanitation and others, he said.

The APSRTC should provide bus services for the students who are appearing for the exams. The question papers which would be kept at DRRM school would be transported to the exam centres under strict bandobust.

The examinations would be conducted in the limits of 58 police stations in the district. If necessary, the secretariat employees would be deployed as invigilators. In case of mass copying the invigilators would be held responsible, he said.
