Ongole: Help-desk to control spread of COVID-19

Ongole: Following the instructions of Superintendent of Polcie Siddharth Kaushal, the Integrated Command Control Inspector N Srikanth Babu formed a helpdesk to control the spread of COVID-19 in the district. He conducted a meeting with all command control staff and explained to them about COVID-19 and the efforts should be taken to control it.

He explained the functioning of the help desk that when they receive a distress call from the COVID-19 sufferer, they would send the particulars to the medical officers concerned and the SHO so that they could offer the necessary assistance to the victims.

Srikanth said that the help desk works 24x7 in the police control room and can be reached at 9121102109 or Dial 100 while the district medical and health department control room at 7729803162.

He said that specific training was given with demo to the entire staff in the command control room about how to maintain cleanliness in the way of hands washing and wearing masks. He informed that AJC K Narendra Kumar is acting as the district nodal officer while additional SP B Sarath Babu is the police nodal officer and Dr. Sravan is the medical nodal officer.
