NTR's centenary as 'Telugu Heritage Day' in America

RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM: Apart from the two Telugu states, party leaders and fans from other countries also attended the Mahanadu, which is being held on a large scale in Rajamahendravaram. They explained to party chief Chandrababu Naidu that May 28 NTR's centenary has been declared as 'Telugu Heritage Day' in different cities of America. Proclamations issued by mayors of various cities in Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, and other states recognizing NTR's birthday on May 28 as Telugu Heritage Day were handed over to party national president Chandrababu by Telugu Desam NRI Section USA Coordinator Komati Jayaram, and TDP State Executive Secretary M. Mohana Krishnababu.

In this programme, Buchi Ram Prasad and Ravi said that recognizing May 28 as Telugu Heritage Day in America is a matter of pride for all Telugus. He praised the NRIs for doing many service programmes while remembering the motherland. Krishna Gompa, Suresh Kakarla, and others participated. On this occasion, Chandrababu Naidu praised that NRIs are standing by TDP and supporting the party's progress.

Meanwhile, TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu participated in a dinner along with party leaders, party fans, and NRIs who donated to the Telugu Desam Party in the Mahanadu premises in Rajamahendravaram and congratulated them all.
