NSM students hold science exhibition in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Science Exhibition-2019 was organised by NSM School on the school premises which was inaugurated by the school principal, Lawrence D'Souza here on Saturday.

The students of NSM School prepared different working models on the themes, science and technology, waste management, water conservation, solar energy, robotics, etc, at the science expo.

They also paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary this year. Speakers, showering encomiums of Gandhiji said that his teachings have universal value.

Some of projects like Untampered EVMs, Pollution Controller & Checker, Floating bag, Chandrayan-II Rocket launching, Rain water conservation, Drowsy Driver helper, How to reduce use of plastic, The Smart Drainage system, Solar Irrigation System, Helmet based ignition system, Coin based Water System etc dragged the attention of the visitors.

A few projects were based on Mathematics like GEO Board (Circles), Pythagoras Theorem, Angle sum property of a Polygon, Role of Geometry in Bridges and ASP of Triangle etc. The projects on Social Science touched topics such as like Gram Sachiwalayam, Solar Irrigation System, Rain Water Harvest etc.
