Novel protest: DYFI conducts last ritual to bike

Tirupati: Democratic Youth Federation (DYFI) Tirupati Committee conducted the last ritual to a bike as part of protest against the hiked petrol and diesel prices.

This protest was held at Tiruchanur circle on today morning 10 to 11 am. In this connection DYFI Chittoor District Secretary S Jayachandra said that Modi led BJP government in center has failed in controlling the hiking fuel prices when compared with international market. He charged that for the last 20 days government of India has been enhancing the petrol and diesel rates.

As part of protest they conducted last procession of a bike from Tiruchanur circle to graveyard. There they conducted last ritual to that bike following the Hindu traditions. DYFI Thiruchanur secretary Sumand and other youth took part in the protest.
