New certificate course in banking at Maris Stella College

Vijayawada: Maris Stella College has initiated a certificate programme for all the final year and passed out students and college alumnae in collaboration with Bajaj Finserv, Mumbai to provide employability to the students, said the college principal Dr Sr Jasintha Quadras.

Addressing the students, Amrutha Naval, senior manager, Bajaj Finserv said that this course will help the students get jobs in banking, non-banking and insurance industry. Students will have classes on banking, finance, communication skills, computer skills, mock interviews and HR workshops with recruiters from Bajaj.

She launched a video which explains the course and shows reviews of the students who completed the course. She interacted with the students and gave insights about the importance of current employability situation.

Sobha, coordinator of CPBFI, (Certificate Program in Banking Finance and Insurance) said that this certificate course is introduced for the first time in Andhra Pradesh by Bajaj Finserv at Maris Stella College.

The duration of the course is 40 days and 120 hours. Students will get the certificate after the completion of the course. Trainer and director, RARE Academy Rajasekhar Reddy, Balaji Srinivas, Firoz and Abhisha, Dr Girija Nambiar participated in the programme.
