Guntur: Never expected this fate, says Kodela's wife
Guntur: Former Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao's wife Sasikala was inconsolable when TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu met the family members to console them at their house in Narsaraopet on Wednesday.
"My husband was a staunch supporter of the TDP and always thought about the party for the last four decades. He was always interested to meet people to know their problems and explained his commitment to party. Everyone knows how he developed Sattenapalli and Narasaraopet Assembly constituencies. He was interested only in solving the problems of the people. Now he suddenly committed suicide, leaving our family helpless. I have never expected my fate will be like this," she said while breaking down before Naidu while wailing that God had done injustice to her family.
Chandrababu Naidu consoled her and extended support to the family. He remembered the services rendered by Kodela Siva Prasada Rao to the state and the party and expressed his sympathy to Kodela Sasikala, her family members and relatives
AP Mahila Commission former chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari, Krishna district ZP chairperson Gadde Anuradha also consoled Sasikala and expressed sympathy to family members.
Similarly, MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh, MP Galla Jayadev, MLAs Maddali Giri, Karanam Balaram, former ministers Prathipati Pulla Rao, Nakka Anand Babu, K Atchannaidu and others consoled former Speaker's children and the relatives.
