n and social worker, Prasad Babu said the objective of Jana Sena is providing social justice and give corruption-free rule to the people if the party is voted to power.The senior lawyer associated with many NGOs for over three decades, speaking to The Hans India on Thursday, said the people of Andhra Pradesh are desperately waiting for change and hoped that people of the state would give a chance to Jana Sena Party and its alliance parties, CPI, CPM and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), to rule the State.

He said the objective of Jana Sena Party is all sections of people should live peacefully and happily in the State.Referring to Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency, he said that he had studied the problems and needs of the people in seven Assembly constituencies under Vijayawada constituency limits.He said the problems of urban and rural people are different and separate approach is needed to resolve them.

Prasad Babu said capital city Vijayawada must be developed as more livable city providing best infrastructure facilities like wide roads, flyovers, under bridges and other amenities.The JSP aspirant said he would try to get more grants from the Union government for development of infrastructure facilities. Stating that Vijayawada Airport has already been developed as international airport, he said he would make efforts for improving facilities in airport as per the requirements of passengers.

He said Vijayawada railway station is one of the biggest junction in India and its needs more facilities for the convenience of train passengers and introduction of new trains to various destinations from Vijayawada. He stressed the need for speedy completion of Durga temple flyover and construction of Vijayawada bypass road.

He said Western Krishna district needs irrigation and drinking water facilities and he would work in co-ordination with MLAs to resolve the water issues.He said Tiruvuru Assembly segment is facing fluoride water problem and needs drinking water to resolve the long-pending problem. He said JSP carefully prepared the manifesto and priority was given to promote education, ensure better medical and healthcare facilities, employment generation, linkage of rivers and construction of new reservoirs for storage of water.

Referring to welfare schemes, he said the JSP is promising financial assistance of Rs 8,000 to each farmer, Rs 5,000 pension to small and medium farmers who are aged over 60 years, distribution of solar motor sets to farmers and bank loans to small traders with 25 paise interest.
