MLA Malladi Vishnu favours nuclear energy for development in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: MLA Malladi Vishnu said nuclear energy should be used for the construction and development of a nation but not for the destruction. The MLA participated in a programme to mark Hiroshima Nagasaki Day at SPS Municipal Corporation High School here on Friday.

Addressing the gathering, Vishnu said that the developed nations should avoid using nuclear warheads which would destroy the nations and living creatures. He appealed to the students to show keen interest in science subject which has a good future.

Science officer Mynam Hussain explained about Albert Einstein's relativity theory. Essay-writing competition was conducted and the winners were given prizes by the MLA. Science teachers and about 300 students participated in the programme.
