MITS students selected for Smart India Hackathon
Madanapalle: The students of Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) have been shortlisted for the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2019 organised by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The world's most prestigious and biggest innovation challenge Smart India Hackathon 2019 is conducted nationwide. "From MITS Ten teams were selected for this competition, the highest number from a college in Andhra Pradesh, " Principal Dr. C Yuvaraj said at a press meet on Sunday.
He said that, totally 41 teams in the Hardware edition from the state of AP were selected by the Smart India Hackathon 2019 and ten teams from MITS College are among them. 54 MITS students and 9 mentors will be participating in this event to be held at different nodal centers across India from 8th to 12th June 2019".
The students and mentors, who showcased their talent in the national level competition were congratulated by the College Management, the Principal, Dr. C Yuvaraj, Associate Director Dr. Prasad, Innovation Co-ordinator Dr. B Jagadeesh Babu, Chokkanthan, HODs from various departments, Faculty and students.
