Mahatma Gandhi game-changer of all times: BCCI Selection Committee Chairman MSK Prasad

Visakhapatnam: Gandhi was, and still is, a hugely influential thinker and leader especially game-changer of all times for those who have fought against oppression and for human rights around the world, observed by BCCI Selection Committee Chairman MSK Prasad here on Friday at GITAM University. He participated in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Young Indian Visakhapatnam Chapter jointly organised program on "Becoming Agents of Change-Right Time? "to deliver the keynote address.

While addressing the students he mentioned that choosing different route to achieve success will always a challenging task. He narrated how noted Indian Cricketer MS Dhoni reached top position from a small place Ranchi. He shared the dressing room discussions with MS Dhoni during Bangladesh tour. He also shared that how Sachin Tendulkar supported MS Dhoni captaincy when a big competition for captaincy position. The BCCI Selection Committee Chairman briefed his career in Indian Cricket from a middle class family. He advised the students particularly the young generation must run behind the challenges to taste the success.

Noted Telugu pop singer Smitha shared her experience during her career path. She narrated how she faced big technology challenges during her time. She informed that she developed a new mobile app your honour to address the society problems. She said that she was greatly influenced by Anna Hazare moment while preparing the app. Telugu lyricist Ananta Sriram also shared her journey and advised the students that change in society will happen if individuals start changing their attitudes.

GITAM Vice-Chancellor Prof.K.Sivaramakrishna advised that young generation must think differently to create new things. CII Visakhapatnam Zone Chairman KVV Raju, Young Indians Visakhapatnam Chair Pavan Krishna Kosaraju, Co-Chair P.Pradeep and others participated in the program.
