Machilipatnam: Expedite resurvey process, Collector P Raja Babu tells officials

Machilipatnam : Krishna district Collector P Raja Babu ordered the officials concerned to expedite stone fencing works for the lands, for which Bhu Raksha Resurvey was completed.
He participated in a videoconference conducted by Chief Commissioner of Land Administration G Saiprasad, from his office here on Thursday. During the meeting, the Collector explained the progress of the resurvey in the district and informed that resurvey process, which was undertaken under ‘YSR Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku-Bhu Raksha’ was completed in the district and stone fencing was completed in 63 villages. The second stage of ‘Ground Truthing’ works was completed cent percent.
The Collector further informed that so far 31,345 printed title deeds have been distributed and 2,490 deeds distribution will be completed soon. Some of the title deeds were pending due to court cases and assigned lands, he added.
Joint Collector Dr Aparajitha Singh, DRO Venkateswarlu, Survey AD Gopal Raja and Collectorate Tahsildar M Haranath participated in the video conference.
