Kurnool: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank celebrates Formation day
Kurnool: The Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank has completed 14 years of its existence since its inception & the 15th formation day was observed in all over the bank on Monday. On this occasion the Sri V Koteswara Rao Regional Manager of APGB Nandyala at region conducted Press meet on Monday in his chamber & conveyed the message of bank's chairman Sri A Venkata Reddy, to all the staff, customers etc. According to Mr Rao, Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank came into existence on 01.06.2006 by amalgamation of Sree Anantha Grameena Bank, Rayalaseema Grameena Bank and Pinakini Grameena Bank on 01.06.2020.
He added that Bank has introduced new "Pragathi Covid-19 " loan scheme to provide financial assistance to their customers under which an amount of Rs.106.10 crores was disbursed to 15,490 borrowers during lockdown period. Chairman has informed that the Bank employees have donated an amount of Rs.50.00 lakhs towards "CM Relief Fund" for covid-19 relief activities and bank staff distributed groceries and vegetables to daily wagers during lockdown in five districts.
