Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary on Tuesday said TDP senior leader Dr Kodela Sivaprasad Rao's demise was a great loss to the Telugu Desam Party and he extended meritorious services for 37 years and also put his efforts in strengthening the party.

Paying tributes to the departed leader at Kotipalli bus station in the city, he said as a true leader, he successfully worked for the party with commitment. Because of YSRCP government's harassment, Dr Kodela Sivaprasad Rao allegedly committed suicide in his house at Hyderabad and the government has to pay for this, he lamented.

Attacks on TDP leaders increased after YSRCP coming to power and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy shattered the dreams of people during his 100 days rule with his anti-people policies, he alleged. He said that at least now, politics of vendetta in the should stop.
