Karimnagar will be made top district in State: Minister Gangula
Karimnagar: The Karimnagar will be made number one district among the others in the State in terms of all-round development, stated newly appointed Civil Supplies and BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar.
G Kamalakar, who visited his hometown Karimnagar after taking oath as the Minister, held a press meet at Padmanayaka Kalyana Mandapam in Karimnagar on Tuesday. The Minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has a special interest and affection towards Karimnagar.
To show his gratitude to the people of Karimnagar, who stood by his side right from the movement for separate Telangana, the CM had allotted two more Minister posts to the district, he stated.
Kamalakar assured that he would never let down Chief Minister KCR and will strive hard to fulfil his aspirations along with making Karimnagar top in the State in terms of all-round development.
The Minister said that right from the time of his entry into politics, he never tasted defeat and won two times as a corporator and three consecutive times as MLA from Karimnagar and said that credit goes to the people of the district.
Kamalakar said that he had resigned from Telugu Desam Party when the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu didn't gave a letter in support of separate Telangana State and joined the TRS. It is because of the CM only, Karimnagar got Smart City tag and the works will commence soon. For the first time in South India, a hanging bridge was constructed in Karimnagar and an IT tower, he added.
Minister Kamalakar said that he will fulfil the responsibility that was handed over to him as BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister and will win the hearts of the people and his mentor Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
