Kakinada: Health services to get boost with launch of ambulances
Kakinada: Rajya Sabha member Pilli Subhash Chandrabose said that former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy introduced 108 and 104 Ambulance services to help the people in medical emergencies.
Subhash Chandrabose, Social Welfare Minister Pinipe Viswaroop, MPs Vanga Geetha, Chinta Anuradha and District Collector D Murlaidhar Reddy launched the 108, 104 vehicles at RMC here Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Bose said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was striving hard for the improvement in education and health sectors.
Bose said during the corona crisis and financial crunch, the Chief Minister was implementing social welfare measures for the upliftment of poor. Social Welfare Minister Pinipe Viswaroop said these 108, 104 vehicles will immensely help the people in the medical emergencies. He said that CM Jagan has opened a new chapter in the lives of the people by introducing 108 and 104 vehicles. Viswaroop said that during the corona crisis 108, 104 vehicles will be highly beneficial to people particularly living in rural areas.
MP Vanga Geetha said through the introduction of these vehicles, many unemployed are benefitted to a large extent. MP Geetha said apart from oxygen cylinders, the new ambulances are equipped with ventilators, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, comfortable stretchers and have provisions for delivery. The vehicles were also enabled with surveillance cameras to ensure proper monitoring by doctors. Amalapuram MP Chinta Anuradha said these vehicles will be highly beneficial to people in the distressed conditions and to the needy sick people.
She said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been fulfilling each and every promise he made during his padayatra. District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy remarked that 108 and 104 vehicles would be accessible even to the persons in the remote corners of the village and this step has brought a revolutionary change in the society. He said that the state government has allotted 63 vehicles of 104 service and 39 vehicles of 108 to East Godavari district.
