Kakinada: CITU holds Jail Bharo programme for women

Kakinada: CITU-affiliated All India Coordination Committee of Working Women activists and leaders organised Jail Bharo in front of RDO Office here on Friday.

The leaders and activists raised slogans against governments for failing to protect women.

CITU leader G Baby Rani said despite the country's progress in science and technology, women were not safe in the country.

She lamented that poorest of poor women in rural areas and middle class women in cities are being abused.

She said that after BJP government came in to the power, attracts on women increased.

CITU district secretary Ch Rajkumar and city president Palivela Veerababu also spoke.
