BJP activists staging dharna in front of Collectorate in Kakinada on Tuesday

Kakinada: BJP senior leader Yenimireddy Malakondaiah demanded that the YSRCP government immediately implement reservation for the economically weaker section (EWS) people in the State.

BJP activists under the leadership of corporator Salagrama Lakshmi Prasanna staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Tuesday. Addressing on the occasion, Malakondaiah said that the BJP will expose the YSRCP government's reckless attitude towards EWS people. He demanded that the YSRCP government implement the 10 per cent EWS reservations cleared by the Central government in education and jobs and do justice to the poor students of the economically backward classes.

Lakshmi Prasanna demanded that the government take immediate steps to ensure opportunities in education, jobs and welfare schemes for the deserving poor in the economically backward classes. M Suresh, PitaniLelavai, K Satyanarayana and others were present.

Mean while in Guntur, BJP YuvaMorcha activists protested at Collectorate demanding the government to implement 10 percent reservation for EWS in the State. Addressing the gathering, Yuva Morcha district president Kokkera SrinivasaRao recalled that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave 10 percent reservation for EWS in education and employment. While other State governments were implementing the EWS reservations, YSRCP government did not take steps to implement the EWS reservations.

BJP Guntur rural district president Patibandla Rama Krishna,YuvaMorcha vice-president Mamidi Krishna Teja,district general secretary M Hari Krishna were among those participated.
