Kadapa: Deputy CM Amzath Basha seeks religious leaders support
Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has urged the people of all faiths to extend their cooperation for the success of Ameen Peer Dargah Utsavams scheduled to be held from December 27 to January 1 in the district.
Addressing media along with collector Ch Harikiran here on Saturday, he said that the proposed Utsavams would be held as per the Covid-19 norms.
Following directions of the government, devotees not less than 200 could participate in the daily events Sha Malang Ghadi Nasheen, Rafayee, Jalali, Banwa, Ahla-ee Tabgath, and Gandham. He said that the devotees must compulsorily wear mask and follow necessary precautionary steps to prevent spread of coronavirus.
District Collector Ch Harikiran directed the municipal, police, medical & health, electricity, minority, revenue and RTC to coordinate for the success of 5-day event. Earlier, the Deputy CM along withcCollector offered special prayers in the Dargah.
SP K K N Anburajan, Dargah organiser Ammer Sayeem, District Minority Welfare officer Mastanvali and others were present.
