Kadapa: 11.06 crore distributed to 7,376 beneficiaries under Kapu Nestham

Kadapa: As many as 7,376 were distributed Rs 11.06 crore under Kapu Nestham in the district. On this occasion some of the beneficiaries participated in the video conference in Kadapa on Wednesday and thanked Chief Minister for extending financial help.

One Hymathi Devi resident of Kadapa town and a tailor said that she is feeding her family depending on tailoring. She said that this amount Rs 15,000 will be used to purchase a new sewing machine. She described the Volunteer system introduced by Chief Minister has been working excellently in bringing benefits of the government at the door step of rural people.

Another beneficiary V Nagaveni of Pulivendula said to Chief Minister with emotion that during the regime of previous government, her father who was a cancer patient was forced to make rounds to the Panchayat office. Now problem was solved as the Volunteer came her house on first day of the month and giving pension. Some other beneficiaries also shared their experiences on getting government benefits. District Collector Ch Harikiran, Joint Collector Saikanth Varma (development) and others were present.
