Juvenile bike lifter arrested in Tirupati

Tirupati: The Urban police nabbed a juvenile and seized 12 bikes worth Rs 5.26 lakh from him.

According to Urban SP KKN Anburajan, M R Palle CI Manburuddin and SI K Eshwaraiah caught a juvenile offender (below 18 years age) on Monday morning while checking the vehicles at Ramanujapalle check-post in Tirupati Rural mandal.

In police enquiry, the boy confessed to crime of stealing vehicles, the SP informed.

He admitted that he committed crimes along with his friends Vinay and Santhosh of Teachers Colony in Tirupati.

The SP appreciated the police personnel, who were involved in arresting the accused.
