Improve amenities at rly stations: GM Gajanan Malya

Guntur: South Central Railway General Manager Gajanan Malya inspected Vemuru and Repalle railway stations on Saturday. He undertook detailed inspection including passenger amenities available at the railway stations.

Later, he inspected level crossing at gate no 258 between Vemuru and Tenali railway stations. He also inspected the level crossing gate and enquired about the safety aspects and procedures followed by gate man.

He conducted detailed inspection of Guntur railway station and enquired about the passenger amenities provided there including waiting halls, booking counters.

He performed Bhumi Puja for new station building at west side entry at Guntur railway station. Later, he conducted a review meeting with the officials on train timings and passenger safety and instructed the officials to announce timings for the convenience of passengers.

He directed them to achieve targets set by the Railway Board and zone and get good name and fame to the Guntur division. Guntur Railway Divisional Manager V G Bhuma and other railway officials were present.
