Huge response to Art and Craft competition

Vijayawada: A huge response was received from the student community for the Art and Craft competition organised by Indian Society for Technical Education student wing, Calicut, Artmate, Vijayawada and Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati at CCVA on Sunday.

Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA said that as many as 115 students for Art competition on Save Energy and about 95 students for Craft competition on Creative bridges took part. The youngsters through their art works presented new ideas for power saving and construction of bridges.

The competitions were supervised by senior artist A Sunil Kumar. Gold and silver medals, certificates were distributed to the winners. Manoj Vamsi, representative of ISTE and Golla Narayanarao, Andhra Arts Academy and others participated in the programme.
