Home Minister assures farmers to extend Guntur channel

Guntur: Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita assured that she will discuss with Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and take steps to extend Guntur channel for the convenience of the farmers. Addressing a review meeting of Prathipadu Assembly constituency development held in Prathipadu on Saturday, she promised to develop Prathipadu constituency on all-fronts.

Speaking on the occasion, she assured that she will take steps to solve drinking water problem and irrigation water problem in the constituency. She promised that the government led by Jagan Mohan Reddy will sanction house sites and houses to all eligible and urged the eligible to apply for house sites and houses.

She said that Jagan Mohan Reddy was maintaining transparency in the administration and felt that there was need to maintain accountability in the officials to render better services to poor.

She said that once petition is given, it should be solved within a week. She felt that better administration is possible with the cooperation of the officials and directed the officials to work with dedication and commitment to get good name and fame to the government.
