M Naga Subbamma, an Anganwadi worker from Vangirala village of Rayachoti mandal, said that she was being harassed by YSRCP workers asking her to resign from her post. After she ignored their demand, officers removed her from the job without showing any reasons.

"Though the court has issued orders in my favour directing me to join duty, the local officials are yet to respond as they are under pressure from the YSRCP activists," she said. Another TDP worker K Manohar Reddy from Simhadripuram mandal told Naidu that he was feeling in insecurity living in his village as he was facing a life threat from YSRCP workers.

"Sir I lost all hopes as I am not sure of my life. This kind of situation is being faced by several activists who worked for the party in 2019 elections," Reddy explained to party chief.

Along with SK Moulali, Naga Subbamma and K Manohar Reddy, 16 other TDP workers shared their bitter experiences with Naidu at the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu said that this kind of atmosphere was prevailing in the entire State as TDP functionaries were being targeted by YSRCP men for petty reasons. He recalled that the TDP had experienced up and downs during its long journey but always returned strong with renewed vigour.

"Do not worry. Good days are ahead as people of the State are vexed with the government which has been adopting anti-people's policies. They are waiting for time to teach a lesson to YSR Congress. The TDP isl committed to protect the interest of party workers," Naidu said.

The TDP chief held review meetings of Proddaturu, Kamalapuram, Pulivendula, Jammalamadugu, Mydukuru and Kadapa constituencies on Tuesday.
